Hello friends!

It seems that May thinks itself as an April this year. It is still cold and wet, and honestly I can’t wait anymore for summer to come! Still I try not to focus on the weather too much and have been pretty busy these days with new projects, I cannot wait to share with you!

My first workshop on “Healthy Eating for Busy People” for this year took place this Wednesday, and it felt so good to be back! If you have missed the chance to join me, I am organising another one on May 31st. If you’d like to come, here are the details for the registration.

Since giving birth to my baby Raya Sophia the topic of children nutrition has become very close to my heart. It is in our hands to give our babies the best start in their life, offering them nourishing, whole foods. Not to forget that the foundations we lay will influence their future choices of food as well! Babies and children have special nutritional needs, as their bodies are rapidly growing and their brain is fast developing. Educating them about food and making them love fruits and vegetables is something I believe can impact them positively in the future. It is funny how things happen in life, because around the same time I was taking a course on Children Nutrition and Cooking, I got contacted by a publishing company. They published a beautiful children’s book in 2016, called “Message in a Bottle”, and were brainstorming on their second book. Together we are now working on creating a children’s book which goal is to familiarise children with fruits and vegetables and promote their consumption on a daily basis.

The story line is fun and entertaining with beautiful, colourful illustrations to accompany it. We are still in the beginning of the project, and we need your help! If you have children (especially 3-5 years old) we would love to know what challenges you face when prompting them to eat more fruit and veg. We have created a short survey and we would appreciate if you could take 1 minute to answer our questions. This will help us tailor the content of the book to better suit your current challenges.

Here is the link to the survey

There are only six questions and I promise it won’t take you more than a minute to answer. Your help is greatly appreciated!

A little sketch from the book 🙂

If you are interested in the project development and the book, then make sure you leave your email at the end of the survey, so we can keep you updated with our progress. 🙂

I wish you all a healthy and relaxing weekend!

Vesela xx
