This is an interactive 4-week course. You can choose to attend one individual session or all four.

In each class we will focus on the four aspects of holistic health:

Week 1 (22.03.2020)

Here is a little snippet from the first class that took part last Sunday . If you’d like to receive a recording of the class, please get in touch with me.

The first class will focus on the physical aspect of holistic health. We will dive into the various approaches that can help regain our physical health and nourish the cells of our body. This course will cover:
a. The importance of nutrition – how consuming a nutrient-rich diet can support us during challenging times or times of uncertainty and change; you will be given examples of specific foods that you can consume on a daily basis and tips on how to easily incorporate them into your diet. We will also discuss how our blood sugar levels can impact our health, wellbeing, and stress levels.
b. Sleep and exercise – integrative aspects of physical health. You will learn why they are so important and how you can make sure you are getting quality sleep and exercise.

Week 2 (29.03.2020)

The second class will focus on our emotional wellbeing.  Here we will examine the emotions that food evokes in us and how it influences how that food is being digested and absorbed. We will go deeper and discover how our emotions can become stuck in the body and if not dealt with can transform into physical discomforts. We will discuss the emotions of love, joy, passion, and fear, anger and guilt specifically and how they impact our health and wellbeing. You will learn about your chakra centers, the emotions each chakra holds and how a chakra blockage can manifest physically in the body.

Week 3 (05.04.2020)

Spiritual wellbeing is going to be at the core of this third class. We will explore how we are connected to our inner soul, as well as the world outside of us. We will talk about food and how different foods can ground us or let us soar higher and bring more lightness to our being. We will discuss different diets that can help strengthen our spiritual qualities, as well as how diets can support different stages in our life, and why remaining open and flexible is so important to our overall health and wellbeing.

Week 4 (12.04.2020)

The last class will focus on mental health. Oftentimes our mental health overlaps with our emotional, physical and spiritual health and here we will tie all classes together. We will discuss how our brain functions, and you will learn which foods helps support brain function and can help you stay sharp and calm. We will touch on the importance of gut health and the gut-brain axis and you will learn how it influences us on a daily basis. Lastly, we will discuss the habits that we have created and why our brain works so well with established habits. You will then have the opportunity to review the habits you operate on and learn how to replace old habits that no longer support your goals with new ones that do.
