Meet Vesela – Where Nutrition Becomes a Way of Living
I believe nutrition is a science, but eating is a behaviour.
And behaviour lives inside a human being, with a nervous system, emotions, habits, stories and seasons of life.
Plateful Nutrition was born from a simple question:
What if nourishing yourself didn’t feel like a battle, a plan, or a performance, but like a relationship you learn to listen to?
Today, I work with individuals and organisations to bridge science and spirituality, food and feeling, performance and presence, so health becomes something you live, not something you chase.
My Story
My own journey into holistic nutrition didn’t begin with perfection. It began with curiosity.
Like many, I once believed health lived in rules, discipline and doing things “properly”. But the deeper I went – into nutrition science, yoga, behaviour change and embodied practice – the more I saw that people don’t struggle because they lack information. They struggle because their bodies are overwhelmed, their nervous systems are stretched, and their relationship with food has become loud instead of supportive.
Yoga became part of my life long before it became part of my work. I spent over 12 years in private and personal practice, learning how the body speaks through sensation, resistance, ease and breath. Later, I trained as an alignment-based vinyasa yoga teacher, so I could guide others in moving not just to stretch, but to regulate, strengthen and listen.
I started noticing something powerful:
When people feel safe, seen and regulated, nourishment becomes natural.
So my work evolved beyond meal plans. It became about understanding the whole human – digestion, hormones, habits, emotions, energy and the subtle ways life moves through us.
Now, whether I’m teaching a corporate workshop, guiding a yoga flow, designing a nutrition plan, or speaking on camera, my intention stays the same:
To help people feel grounded, nourished and alive from the inside out.

How I Work
My approach blends three worlds:
Science: understanding nutrients, physiology, hormones and the gut–brain axis.
Behaviour: how habits form, why restriction backfires, and how consistency is built gently.
Embodiment: using yoga, breath and alignment-based movement to reconnect with the body’s intelligence.
This means we don’t just ask, “What should you eat?”
We ask, “What supports your system to receive nourishment?”
Together, we look at food, lifestyle, stress, movement, nervous system patterns, emotional load and meaning, so change feels sustainable, intelligent and human.
No obsession.
No punishment.
Just aligned nourishment..
Working With Me
I work with:
• individuals seeking deeper wellbeing
• busy professionals and mothers
• corporate teams wanting sustainable performance
• people who are tired of extremes and ready for connection
Through:
• holistic nutrition coaching
• alignment-based vinyasa yoga
• nervous-system–informed movement
• corporate wellness workshops
• talks, retreats and education
My work is not about fixing you.
It’s about teaching you how to listen, respond and trust your body again.
Training & Perspective
My perspective is shaped by both study and lived experience.
I trained as a Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant with the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, and continued my education with specialised training in gut health, nutrition and healthy cooking for children, and pregnancy and postpartum nourishment through international programmes in North America and Europe.
Alongside this, my yoga journey spans more than a decade of personal practice, followed by professional training in alignment-based vinyasa, allowing me to integrate intelligent movement with nutrition, nervous system health and everyday life.
What matters most to me, though, is not collecting certificates, but translating complex science into something that feels simple, practical and nourishing in real life.
Knowledge becomes powerful only when it’s embodied.

A Note From Me
If you’re here, you’re probably not looking for another plan.
You’re looking for a way to feel more at home in your body.
More connected to your choices.
More supported in your life.
That’s the work I love to do.
You’re warmly welcome here.

Hi Mada! I would recommend the China Study by T. Colin Campbell and the Beauty Detox Solution by Kimberly Snyder. Those were one of the first books I read and they got me completely hooked on nutrition!

Hy my name is Pia, I found our blog as I was searching where I could actually buy kale in Luxembourg, I discovered the great benefits of it on a visit to my sister in Florida . Would like to cook it for my family but can’t find kale in regular food stores !
Hi Pia! It is so true! Kale has amazing benefits and tastes great in salads, I find especially when you add some avocado to it! 🙂 Kale is quite seasonal and it is difficult to find it in the supermarkets. Try at the farmers market Wednesday and Saturday morning at Place Guillaume II. Currently the dinosaur kale is in season and you could find it there! 🙂
All the best! xVesela
