This recipe is super easy and the perfect snack when you feel like having something sweet and guilt-free.

It will literally take you only 5-10 minutes to prepare, and it makes a  satisfying and enjoyable dessert.

This one is my version for a sweet, protein rich treat that I sometimes prepare for myself after a workout. Let me tell you a little bit about the ingredients I use in this recipe, you will see why I like to call them energy balls. 🙂

Hemp seeds are rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fats, contain lots of fiber, and are a great source of plant protein. They are also high in magnesium, a mineral that helps with relaxation and blood sugar control.

Dates are an excellent source of iron and potassium and they contain vitamins A and K, important for your hair and skin.

Cashews contain lots of copper, which plays and important role in iron utilization in the body, elimination of free radicals and development of bone and connective tissue. They also contain magnesium, which is also important for our bones and helps regulate nerve and muscle tone.
